Job Posting: Marketing & Social Media Intern for Fall 2025

Location: Tulsa, OK or Las Vegas, NV (or remote for the right candidate)

At XO Event Co., we don’t just plan weddings — we design experiences that deserve to be seen, shared, and celebrated. That’s where this role comes in. As our Marketing & Social Media Intern, you’ll help showcase the heart of XO through polished brand storytelling, creative content, and behind-the-scenes magic. From weddings to styled shoots to retreats, you’ll play a key role in bringing our work to life across every platform.

Are you a college junior, senior, or trade school student craving hands-on experience in weddings, design, marketing, or social media? Or already in the industry just looking for further your skills but not relying on full-time income?

This fall, we’re opening the door for someone who’s ready to blend creativity with organization, build a real portfolio, and be part of a fast-moving, design-driven team. And the best part? There’s room to grow — with the opportunity to continue into 2026 as part of our team in a part-time role.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of everything that brings XO’s magic to life digitally and visually. Think: content, connections, creativity, and cleanup (of the digital kind).

Gather photos & video from planners and vendors each quarter, organize in Drive, and keep galleries flowing into the posting pipeline.

Manage our social media:
• Plan & schedule feed posts (12/month)
• Create 3+ Stories per week (with at least one behind-the-scenes)
• Produce 1 Reel/week for IG + TikTok

Capture & post live content during weddings, styled shoots, retreats — without stepping on any toes.

Help keep our look and feel tight: consistent fonts, presets, highlight covers, captions, graphics — everything aligned.

Engage daily: answer DMs/comments, connect with vendors and clients, move inquiries forward.

Push us forward: track analytics, maintain & rotate hashtag lists, test new formats or audios, spot trends.

Support in marketing/design work:
• Canva graphics (social, events, proposals)
• Design boards for clients / styled shoots
• Update XO’s profiles on platforms like The Knot, Zola, WeddingWire, Google with fresh galleries & reviews
• Help update website galleries / content on WIX
• Make sales & marketing collateral for venues, vendors, clients

What We’re Looking For

You might be the perfect person if you:

Are a creative self-starter who loves both big ideas and the small details.
Communicate clearly and get stuff done on schedule.
Keep your own to-do list and can follow already outlined processes.
Feel comfortable wearing different hats (designer, content producer, editor, organizer).
Are excited to learn fast, experiment, and grow.
Have some experience (school, internships, freelance, or personal) with social media content & design tools (Canva, Lightroom, etc.).
Bonus: previous event or wedding industry exposure.
